What control panels does Hivium use for VDS hosting?
Hivium offers VDS hosting with either Enhance, cPanel, or DirectAdmin. All of these control panels are well known and stable. They are feature-rich & offer a user-friendly interface to effectively manage your websites and access all necessary options to keep them running smoothly.
You can easily adjust PHP settings, restore backups to specific dates with precise controls, oversee your WordPress website, set up databases, create and manage email accounts, install and manage SSL certificates, establish staging environments, seamlessly transition from staging to live, and so much more.
Can a VDS scale as per my needs?
You can easily scale or resize VDS resources at Hivium. Resizing scales your server resources up as needed. Depending on the specific site or application needs, you can have the configuration you need in a short amount of time. For example, when organizations experience a traffic spike, they may require extra RAM and CPU resources, necessitating a small upscale.
Do note that once storage on a particular server is increased, the server cannot be downgraded to a lower plan. You will need to buy a new server and then transfer the files to the new server. Contact our support team for more information.
What type of backups are available with VDS hosting?
Hivium offers simplfied backups with every VPS. All of the files, databases, and emails are backed up by us with our backup software. The backups are stored on an secure offsite location for a period of 30 days.
For Enhance control panel, we use Enhance backups which offers easily 1-click restores when needed. For cPanel and DirectAdmin we use JetBackup as the software. Both can be added as an addon at the time of ordering.
Can I migrate my websites to Hivium's VDS hosting?
Yes, and it’s free to do so. Moving your current website to Hivium’s VDS hosting is a simple process. Just answer a few simple questions and we’ll move your site to your VDS.

Can I add extra block storage to my VDS?
Yes, you can add extra block storage to your VDS. Kindly contact our support and they will help you setup the block storage for your VDS. Please do note that it is not possible to resize your root partition and add the block storage space to it.
Will I receive a FREE SSL certificates for all of my domains?
Yes. You will receive FREE SSL certificates for all the domains that you have hosted on your VPS hosting. Your domains will be issued SSL certificates via Let’s Encrypt.
